Delete an object

Click the Delete button on the Ring Design toolbar (or on the keyboard) to delete all currently selected (drive, ring, or hole) objects.

If no objects are selected, then the Selection Assistant will prompt you to select the objects you want to delete. You can use the CTRL key with the mouse to select multiple objects.

Note: Deleting an object deletes all "sub-objects". If you delete a drive, all rings on that drive will be deleted. If you  delete a ring, all holes on that ring will be deleted.

Delete holes

When the display is in Edit Ring mode, holes can be selected and deleted in a number of ways:

All holes that fall between the delete FROM and TO holes, including the FROM and TO holes, will be deleted when you click the Delete button.

Undo

You will not be prompted to confirm your deletions. If objects are deleted inadvertently, use the Edit | Undo (CTRL Z) option to recover.

Note: Undo can be used to undo any editing operations, not just deletions.
