Regenerate Drive Boundary

Note: This tool will be disabled when the display is in Edit Ring mode.

Sometimes it may be necessary to adjust the drive wireframe during the design process.

After updating the drive wireframe, the ring design must be temporarily removed from the display in order to re-load and refresh the Ring database.

Once the ring design has been re-loaded with the updated drive wireframe:

 

 
  1. Click the Regenerate Drive Boundary button to adjust the drive boundaries so that they conform to the new shape of the wireframe.

    2. If no drive string is selected in the display, then the Selection Assistant will prompt you to select the strings of the drives you want to regenerate.

Tip: To select a drive string, turn off the drive wireframe layer so you can view and select the underlying drive strings.
