Performance

Use the options provided on the Performance tab to determine the level of detail to be shown in the display. Options can be set so that complex drillhole objects are only drawn in a clipped section. This can significantly improve the display speed (performance).

Four levels of optimisation are available:

Full (always show all detail)
High (hide detail when rotating and not clipping)
Medium (only show detail when clipping is on)
Low (only show detail when clipping is on and not moving)

By choosing a level of detail to suit the complexity of your data, you can enjoy real-time performance while interacting (rotating, zooming, or panning) your data in Vizex. You can view the data in full detail when you stop.

Optimise a drillhole display for 3D performance

In the Vizex Display Pane, you can alter the Level of Detail (Performance Tab options) for the Vizex Drillhole functions using the right-click menu. This allows you to change the settings for multiple objects at the same time.
