Two-Point Radius Arc

Click the New Arc tool on the String Editor toolbar (Strings | Edit | New Arc | Two-Point Radius Arc) to digitise an arc from a centre point, an arc start point, and an arc end point.

When you have digitised the three points, the Arc Properties form is displayed:

Circle Centre

If necessary, adjust the coordinates of the centre of the circle to alter its position.

Radius

You can adjust the length of the arc by altering the radius of the circle.

Start and End Angle

You can adjust the length of the arc by altering the start and the end angles of the arc.

Points

Specify the number of points along the arc.

Create

Select an option to create an arc, create an arc and centre circle point, or create a wedge by drawing two lines running from the start and end angles of the arc to the circle centre.

Preview

Click the Preview button to see a preview of the new arc. If you are happy with the result, click OK. Otherwise adjust the parameters you have entered and preview again.
