Orientation Axis
On the Orientation Axis tab of the Search Ellipsoid form, you can choose to display an orientation axis which provides a visual indication of where in space the camera currently is. This helps to prevent becoming "lost" as you manipulate the display.
Display Orientation Axis
Use the check box to toggle the display of the orientation axis on and off.
When the check box is selected, you can choose a (THIN, MEDIUM, THICK, or custom) line width from the drop-down list. An extensive selection of custom widths (in millimetres) are available for selection.
Colours
The colours used for the axis lines are the same as those used for the orientation axes in Vizex:
- red = X
- green = Y
- blue = Z
Axis lines that point in the negative (-ve) directions are shown as dashed lines
Transparency
Use the transparency slider to specify the intensity of the display layer. The visibility of the layers underneath the current display layer will be determined by the degree of transparency you select.
