File Templates

When creating new layers in Vizex, templates are now used which automatically define the structure of String, Point, and Pit Design files.

The field order is hard-coded and the field names are taken from the auto-fill options in Options | Forms. This ensures that a valid set of fields are applied which are localised for the application language.

The following template files are stored in the \Environment sub folder of the Micromine User Profile Folder.

• VIZEX-STRINGS-TEMPLATE.STR
• VIZEX-POINTS-TEMPLATE.DAT
• VIZEX-PIT-DESIGN-TEMPLATE.PIT
