Using Report Controls

These topics describe how to customise the appearance of a report or any of its elements using specific appearance options, visual styles and conditional formatting. There are two main ways of setting Control options that are generic: The Smart Tag and the Property Grid.

The Smart Tag is available by clicking on the Control (or Band) which will make a small right angle bracket icon appear above the object on the right.

Click on this to produce the objects Tasks. This is a selection of the commonly associated tasks available with this object.
