Geobank Mobile is a sophisticated data capture and logging application that is particularly suited to the automated and manual collection of geological data. Your data capture team can:

  • Collaborate using synchronisation
  • Capture data directly from a range of connected devices
  • Manage workflows using the built-in approval process
  • Easily export and pass custodianship of data to other applications such as Micromine Origin and Beyond™, Geobank™ and desktop GIS packages

The simple and flexible setup interface allows the configuration of the solution to a site’s needs. Setting business rules ensures users are immediately informed of incomplete or invalid datasets.

An intuitive user interface provides a comprehensive range of data editing and display functions. These allow new users to quickly learn the system, while more experienced users can use shortcuts to speed up data capture and management.

Geobank Mobile can be run on any Windows™ compatible PC, laptop, or tablet. It is assumed that you have downloaded and installed all the latest Windows updates.

Note that users will not be able to open Geobank Mobile if they do not have Modify access (which includes Read, Execute, and Write) permissions for the 'Geobank Mobile' folder and its sub folders under:

C:\ProgramData\Micromine

When you upgrade Geobank Mobile, the upgrade process will automatically upgrade your working database. If you are an active Geobank Mobile user, it is recommended you make a backup copy of your working database before installing a newer version of the software on the same device or PC.
