Polyline Labels
Use the Polyline Labels tab to add multiple labels for the polylines and polygons in the display.
Label Polylines
Select the Label Polylines check box if you want to label the polylines and polygons in the display. Up to 5 Label Fields can be specified. For each label, you also have the option of specifying the number of Decimals (for numeric fields) and a label Prefix and Suffix.
Only display labels for polygons
Select this option to only label polygons. You might use this feature to validate a polygon layer and identify any open polylines.
Planar Area
Select the Planar Area option to label the area of the polylines or polygons in Plan view.
Label Appearance
The appearance of the labels can be customised. Double-click on the Colour icon to select a colour for the labels and set a constant Angle for the labels. You can also set a Background colour for the Label text. The background colour is the NULL colour by default.
Text Properties
Double-click on the Text Properties Preview box to select a font and set text properties for the labels.
Control Angle From Field
Select the 'Control Angle From Field' option to set a variable label angle using the values in a nominated Angle Field.
