Options

When you select File | Options, a number of options can be set which effect how data is recorded, how records are displayed and how they are edited. There are four tabs:

• General
• Synchronisation
• Usability
• Camera
• Licensing

General

General options are available for selection on the General tab of the Options form:

Select Language

Select a language for the user interface. For the language change to take effect, you will need to close and restart the application.

Prompt for nested approval

This option is turned on by default. Whenever you approve a parent record, you will prompted to approve all child records. If this option is turned off, you will need to approve each child record before you can approve the parent record. See: Approve Records.

Enable Reference Table Approval

Choose whether or not records in tables marked as “Reference Tables” can be approved.

Use ANSI Encoding for CSV Export

By default, this option is not selected and the export process will use UTF-8 (Universal Character Set Transformation Format – 8 bit) as the default encoding. Internationally, this is the standard character encoding format.

If this option is selected, the export process will use the character encoding and the language settings on your computer.
