Mine

The material flow model used by the Stope Optimiser allows material to be sourced from a single mine. Waste is sent to a single waste dump, which is created automatically to accept an unlimited quantity of any type of material. The properties of the waste dump cannot be changed.

Use the Mine tab to specify the following settings for the mine for which the optimum stope layouts are to be determined:

Name

Enter the name of the mine for which the model and design parameters are specified.

Code

Enter the identification code to be assigned to the mine for which the model and design parameters are specified.

This code is used to identify the mine within reports and for abbreviated labelling of mine-related entities as required.

Definition

Select the form set that specifies the details of the block model, the design parameters for the mine and the output required.

Click left on the icon to select an existing form set.

Click right on the icon and select New to create a new form set. When prompted, enter the name to be assigned to the new form set and press OK.

Click right on the icon and select Edit, or press F4, to edit the specified form set.

The Underground Mine Setup Definition form will be displayed. Here you can setup the properties of the model, the design, and the outputs of the optimiser.
